Dear Sisters & Brothers,

May the spirit of Babaji be with every one of us to positively energise all that we do in the service of mankind.

The Navaratras celebrations went of beautifully. While I could not be physically present I was with everyone of you in thought & prayer.

The entire Samaj pulled together and collectively enabled these magnificent prayerful and spiritually charged Navratras celebrations.

I would like to thank everyone of us who worked in the spirit of Krama Yoga to create togetherness and joy for the entire Samaj. Bhole Baba ki jai !

The Ashwin Navaratries 2017 started with not so many people as we have seen in the past but the mood was sweet and none the less powerful. Our Chairman Shri Alok Banerjee was unable to make it this time due to official entanglements and left a big hole in our midst. Pratibha and crew had painted the ashram beautifully and with the solid group of organizers the different angles of activities, Lakhsmi, Nirmala, Indra, Ram Pyari (Germany) and Raidas all went of smoothly.

The weather started warm but on the ¾ th day we had 2 days of heavy downpour where the temperatures dropped significantly. The weather picked up again and we enjoy pleasant warm weather for the rest of the days there.

Sandeep was also unable to come but our secretary Sanjeev took over his bandara services beautifully. The bandara’s were sumptuous everyday and very well attended by local people who enjoy having a tasty nutritious meal at Babaji’s ashram.

As Alok was unable to attend, the ghee spoon at the havan was held everyday by a different elder of our community. The vibrations were powerful as they always are coming from the sacred fires. With the dwindling presence everybody was able to sit twice or more at the havan this time. With growing consciousness that being present and concentrated or offering is not different there is also more ease around the fire now.

A memorable moment took place on the Saptami evening darshan. Ram Pyari, the Russian dentist we all know well from her spectacular dances close to Babaji’s assan. She was dancing that evening happy and ecstasy, all of a sudden sat down, fell over back wards in prostration to Babaji’s assan with Paduka’s there and she left her body. It was a big shock on that moment but later when we all realized what took place it was seen as a miracle and big blessing blessing for her to leave the body in this way on this auspicious moment. A miracle or not the loss and pain for her husband Bushan, son Aditya and daughter Annapurna should not be forgotten also.

In the end about 90-100 people from abroad and about 200 devotees from all over India participated in these Navaratra’s. Even if the numbers were down everybody enjoyed a marvelous Divine time and left Happily.
